Metapod, resembling a chrysalis, made its debut in the Generation I. Also known as Cocoon Pokémon, Metapod is a Bug-type Pokémon that lives in forests. The most prominent defensive stance of Metapod is to harden its outer shell. The shell, with the durability of steel, can resist hard hitting attacks but the inner vulnerable body may pop out during the combat mode. Metapod has the only ability to shed skin. Meta attacks comprise of Bug Bite and Tackle. Talking about special attacks, Metapod can use Struggle to render damage on the opponent.

How to get Metapod in Pokemon Quest

Throwing a Pokeball is the most feasible method of capturing a Metapod. However, to attract Bug-type Pokémon, you can use a Metapod recipe like Honey Nectar a la Cube. The recipe represents sweet things and yellow color. You need ingredients like honey, bulk berries, Capricorn, icy rock, bulk berry, and rainbow matter.

How to evolve Metapod in Pokemon Quest

Metapod was the first Pokémon to evolve in a movie. Metapod evolution starts with the Caterpie. At level 7, Caterpie evolves into Metapod and at level 10, Metapod evolves into Butterfree. Participating in expeditions is the key to the evolution of a Metapod.
