Golem is introduced in Generation 1 and is a dual-type Rock/Ground Pokémon that evolves from Graveler. The Alolan variant is a Rock/Electric-type and evolves from a Alolan Graveler. Golem looks like a giant tortoise that is capable of walking on two legs. Green colored rocks make up Golem's shell and this creature actually grows bigger every year through a skin shedding process. Its head sticks out from the shell's center and on the sides are two short arms. From the lower portion, there are two stubby legs which assist Golem in walking. Its eyes are red and there are two sharp teeth on its lower jaw.
Since they are of the same type, Golem’s abilities are similar to Geodude and Graveler. These abilities include Rock Head or Sturdy and Sand Veil as its hidden ability.
Rock Throw and Mud-Slap are considered as the best Golem moveset while Stone Edge, Earth Quake, and Rock Blast are among Golem’s best sets and Ditto’s best tactics.
