Raticate is a Mouse Pokémon that made its debut in Generation I. There are two variants of this Pokémon – Raticate and Alolan Raticate. While Raticate dwells in plains and savannas, Alolan Raticate dwells in urban areas. This Normal/Dark-type Pokémon is known for its steel grinding teeth and shrieking noise that paralyzes opponents. Raticate abilities include Run Away or Guts and Hustle. Alolan Raticate abilities are Gluttony or Hustle and Thick Fat.

Raticate evolution takes place at level 20 when it evolves from Rattata. The Alolan Raticate evolution takes place in Alola during night time. When Alolan Rattata reaches level 20, it evolves into Alolan Raticate. This is the final evolution form for the Mouse Pokémon.
