Kakuna is a cocoon Pokémon, generally remains immobile during the evolution process. Being a dual-type Pokémon, it possesses various moves and can render damage to various Pokémon types. Kakuna came into the limelight in Generation I. As it remains immobile until next evolution, the only ability of Kakuna is to Shed Skin. These are generally found in the forests, damp wooded areas, and at the entrance of caves.

Poison-type Pokémon like Kakuna can be lured by cooking Sludge Soup a la Cube, a recipe made using mushrooms and sweet things as ingredients. Since Kakuna finds a mention in the Bug-type, you can cook up Honey Nectar a la Cube using sweet things and yellow. As you plan to attract this Pokémon, beware of Kakuna move sets that include Bug Bite, Electroweb, Iron Defense.
How to evolve Kakuna in Pokemon Quest
Kakuna evolves from Weedle in level 7 and it evolves into Beedrill in level 10 during second evolution. As Kakuna remains immobile most of the time, internally it works on the evolution. This results in production and dispersion of heat from the cocoon. When the danger approaches, Kakuna is capable of ejecting venom from the barb.
