A Generation I Pokemon, Shellder belongs to the Bivalve Pokémon species. This water type Pokemon is quite popular for its abilities and strengths which include Shell Armor, Shell Link, and Overcoat. The shell of this Pokemon is so hard that it can bear any kind of attack without breaking. But once the shell is opened, it makes the Pokemon quite vulnerable. This Pokemon is also quite fast at swimming.

To get Shellder to the base, you need to cook the Shellder recipe called Mouth-watering Dip. You can cook it by mixing Apricorn (1), Bluk Berry (3), and Honey (1) in your cooking pot. Or there is a different way too. Mix Bluk Berry (2), Honey (2), and Icy Rock (1) to make Mouth-watering Dip.
How to evolve Shellder in Pokemon Quest
In regards to Shellder evolution, it evolves into Cloyster when the Water Stone is used. Cloyster is both water and ice type Pokemon.
