Squirtle is a tiny Water Pokémon that introduces itself in Generation 1. It resembles a small blue turtle and is often seen running on all four legs while it primarily walks on two. It has large eyes and its upper lip is gently hooked. Its hard shell can be used for both attacking and defending. The long tail curls inward.
