Called an Atrocious type Pokémon or a dual-type Water/Flying Pokémon, the Gyarados is introduced in Generation 1 and evolves from Magikarp. Its body has a serpentine shape to it and it resembles a Chinese dragon. The majority of its body is blue in color and its underbelly is yellow. It also has yellow spots along its body. On its head, there is a crest with three elongated points. It has a total of four white colored dorsal fins. The mouth is big and gaping which encloses four sharp teeth.
