Three waves of wild Pokemon cleared and that means you are going to meet Hypno, the boss of that stage.
Hypno is a Psycho-type Pokemon with a pendulum in hand. This is exactly the thing that can lull its opponent into a state of deep hypnosis.
Tip 1 from Pokemon Quest walkthrough guide: When Pokemon fall asleep they are unable to move for a little while.
Hypno looks like a humanoid with the yellow skin. Its hookey nose, sleepy eyes, and a strange collar on the neck complete the odd look.
Being a Psycho-type Pokemon, Hypno is the most vulnerable against Bug, Ghost, and Dark types of moves. Use them to bring maximum damage.
Tip 2 from Pokemon Quest walkthrough guide: Pay attention to the effect of burns in Pokemon Quest. When Pokemon are burned, they gradually take damage. And the damage they deal with enemies is lessened for a little while.
